Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Goaltend mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Goaltend is a fitness tracking application that:

• Connects to Apple Health to access your workout data
• Analyzes your fitness history to identify achieved milestones
• Helps you set and track future fitness goals
• Provides progress visualization and achievement celebrations

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Goaltend for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license is subject to these Terms and may be revoked at any time.

User Responsibilities

When using Goaltend, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Provide accurate health permissions when prompted
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
• Not use the App in ways that could harm our services or other users

Health and Safety Disclaimer

Important: Goaltend is for informational and motivational purposes only. It is not intended to:

• Provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Replace professional medical consultation
• Serve as a substitute for professional fitness guidance

Always consult with healthcare professionals before starting any new fitness program or if you have health concerns.

Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy in goal calculations and progress tracking:

• The App relies on data from Apple Health, which may contain inaccuracies
• Goal achievements are calculated based on available data and may not reflect complete fitness activity
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any fitness calculations

Availability

We aim to keep Goaltend available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Maintenance or updates
• Technical issues beyond our control
• Changes to Apple's HealthKit framework

Intellectual Property

Goaltend and all related content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Goaltend, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or inability to access the App
• Decisions made based on App calculations or recommendations
• Any health or fitness-related outcomes

Termination

You may stop using Goaltend at any time by deleting the App from your device. We may also terminate or suspend access to the App at our discretion, with or without notice.

Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or website.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
